Attorney Jameika Mangum has proven herself as an emerging new legal force to be reckoned with. Mangum resigned from her position as a Prosecutor and opened The Mangum Law Firm, LLC in 2010.
During law school, Mangum appeared on CNN, The Early Show (CBS), Dateline (NBC), and more. The Mangum Law Firm, LLC focuses on Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, and Small Claims. Mangum is a former Law Clerk of a Los Angeles area Personal Injury law firm. As a Law Clerk, Mangum assisted attorneys with Personal Injury, Toxic Torts, and other civil matters.
Mangum is a former Assistant State’s Attorney for McHenry County. As an Assistant State’s Attorney, Mangum handled traffic matters including but not limited to Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (DUI) cases, and Statutory Summary Suspension (SSS) Hearings. Additionally, Mangum handled misdemeanors, and Domestic Violence cases including Orders of Protection.
Prior to joining the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office, Mangum worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the State of New Mexico. Mangum handled misdemeanors for the State of New Mexico. Mangum is a former Law Clerk of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Mangum assisted attorneys in the Felony High-Tech Crimes Unit.
